Best Of 2015

Hello friends! 2015 was a very eventful year from big moments like “Fame” and becoming Student Body President to great times like going to concerts with my best friend. While it was one of my most stressful years as I embrace college and adulthood, I’m grateful for the friendships I’ve made and the opportunities I’ve had. Enjoy this year in review slideshow!

December Favorites

Hello, friends! December has definitely been one of the most difficult months this year. With all the hustle and bustle of school and the holiday season, it’s been difficult to handle life. I’ll get back to that later. Let’s get on with the products I’ve been loving this month.

Tarte Maracuja Oil

This product has been my skin savior this month.  If you’re an oily skin girl like me, don’t be afraid! This has helped my breakouts and improved my complexion so much! It’s a multi-purpose oil, but I mainly use it for my face. I apply this at night after washing my face, then amp it up by applying my Simple Rich Moisturizer. In the morning, my skin is left clear and glowing.

NARS Velvet Matte Lip Pencil in “Cruella”

I got this as a birthday gift from Sephora and I’ve been obsessed with it ever since. It’s the perfect dark red shade and stays put for hours. I love wearing this as a statement lip, especially in the winter.

Lorac ProMatte Palette

This is basically the only palette I’ve used this month. The shades are rich, velvety, and great to use every day. I love using this palette for a natural look.

Tarte Amazonian Clay BB Tinted Moisturizer

I don’t normally wear face makeup, but when I do, I reach for this product. I don’t need a lot of coverage, so I like that this gives light, natural coverage. The finish is demi-matte and lasts for most of the day with a bit of finishing powder. If you’re looking for something light and great for everyday, this BB cream is great!

Milani Color Statement Lip Liner in “Bordeaux”

I love pairing this lip liner with the NARS lipstick. It’s got a beautiful, rich shade and has great lasting power. Bonus: It’s under $5!

I hope you guys have a great holiday!

Holiday Season

Hello, friends! Holiday season is here! Time for 25 Days of Christmas on ABC Family, Christmas songs on the radio, and Peppermint Mochas. It’s a great time. Here are some things to look forward to this season:

  • Winter fashion: Hello scarves and boots! I like to wear as much black and maroon as humanly possible.
  • Ice skating: It just makes sense. I love iceskating, because it’s such an adventure. It’s like a bunch of people with their eyes closed attempting to ride a unicycle while holding hands. Who doesn’t love that? Go out with a few of your friends and see which person falls first.
  • Warm Drinks: Peppermint mochas (as fore mentioned), dirty chai lattes, and hot chocolate. Grab a huge mug and a huge sip.
  • Christmas movies: Who doesn’t love 25 Days of Christmas special? Get psyched up for the holiday season with a holiday movie marathon.
  • Buying gifts: It’s a holiday tradition for me and my best friend to go on a huge gift spree. We dress up in “ugly” Christmas sweaters and buy gifts for our friends in one big haul. I’m currently having a bit of trouble coming up with gift ideas, so if you have any suggestions, let me know.
  • “Ugly” Christmas Sweaters: They’re so cozy and adorably tacky. Wear them. Wear them all.

Holiday season is so magical, so go bask in its commercialist glory, you elf you. Just kidding. Enjoy the holidays!
