Introducing the “Travel-Ling” Series

Ciao, amici! Just a bit of an Italian greeting for your fancy. I hope all of you are having an awesome day! Fourth of July weekend is in full swing, and I know many of you are enjoying a family-filled, patriotic couple of days. Ironically, as we’re heading towards celebrating the United State’s birthday, I am going to be leaving the country!

Tomorrow, I embark on a one month journey in Europe, starting with a few days in Barcelona and spending the rest of the time in Italy. This is actually my ninth time traveling to Italy, as my sister and I have been able to tag along with our father’s study abroad program over the past couple of years. We are very blessed to have this experience and cannot wait to see what this summer will entail.

This leads me into the point of this post, which is to introduce my new travel series, “Travel-Ling”. In this series, I am going to be taking you along with me abroad, as well as giving you some of my tips for traveling.  Since we’ve taken this trip before, we’re seeing a lot of sights that we’ve visited in the past. While we will hit these same destinations this year, this allows us to explore other cities and attractions that may not be so well known and that I’ll definitely be writing about! Travel is one of my passions and I can’t wait to share this with you.

My goals for this trip are to learn Italian, explore places, eat lots of delicious food, and thoroughly enjoy my time there, as this may be my last time going with my family on this trip. I’m really excited to be sharing this next month with you, and if you want to follow along with me, be sure to follow my blog, so you’ll get updates on new postings.

  Arrividerci, ragazzi!

-Love Ling
