January Beauty Favorites

Hello, friends! These are the beauty products that I’ve been loving for the month of January. I discovered some new products and resurrected some old ones, so this should be a fun experience! Let’s get started:

VS Pure Seduction Body Spray: I haven’t used this in such a while, but here it is! It’s back! This body spray has the most beautiful scent. It’s very fruity and perfect for everyday use. I love it!

Revlon BB Cream: I’ve pretty much used this everyday this month. It’s great for evening out the skin and providing light coverage. This BB cream also lasts all day on my oily skin! I love it!

Dove Pure Care Dry Oil Shampoo: I tried out a new shampoo this month and I really like it for moisturizing my hair. It makes me hair silky and shiny, without weighing it down.

Maybelline ‘The Rocket’ Mascara: You guys know how much I love my L’oreal Butterfly Mascara. I think this product has replaced it. It plumps and lengthens my lashes without clumping and I think this is one of the best drugstore mascaras out there. I highly recommend it.

Garnier Fructis Nourishing Cleansing Oil: Oh my goodness. You guys. This stuff is amazing. As you know, my skin is really oily and I try to steer clear of anything marked “oil”. However, this product is the exception. I use this to take off my makeup and then follow up with a daily cleanser. It removes all traces of my makeup, while hydrating my skin, and it doesn’t break me out! If you are tired of using makeup wipes, I recommend trying this product, because it will revolutionize your skincare game.

Alright guys! I hope you enjoyed this post! Let me know what you would like me to write about next and I will talk to you later! ❤

Post Rehearsal Treat

Hello, friends! Oh my gosh! Finally, the weekend is here! I actually had rehearsal today, so I spent a couple hours after school rehearsing for the musical, which was all in good fun. I just love the whole rehearsal process! It’s so fun to discover my character and invest myself emotionally in this role. That’s one of the reasons I love acting so much. It’s kind of like playing “make-believe”, where you get to pretend to be this other person. What do you guys think? Do you think it would be fun to be someone else for a short period of time?

After rehearsals, I got coffee and a donut to finish off the week. I got a mocha frappe from Starbucks and brought that into Dunkin’ Donuts to go with my donut. So crazy! But the people working there were totally cool and nice about it. Here’s a little food porn for you guys:

I love donuts! They’re so delicious. Anyways! I hope you guys had a great week and I will check in with you all later!

Who Are You?

Hello, friends! I’m sure there are a ton of you guys out there that are just trying to figure things out. You don’t know exactly who you are or what you want, and that’s okay. I’m in high school, and I know that at school, everyone is trying to discover who they are. It’s tough. Sometimes I think it’s harder to know yourself than to know other people. Figuring yourself out is a constant process and won’t come to you instantly, because we’re always changing. Humans are malleable and can be shaped into many different people.

So if you’re having a hard time deciding who you are, it’s okay to not know. The bottom line is, you don’t have to know exactly who you are, but be comfortable in growing as a person keeping two feet on the ground.
