Life Update

Hello, friends! Seeing that I haven’t talked to you guys in a while, I thought it was time to do a life update and tell you guys a little bit of what has gone on recently.

So far, April has been a great month. Some new changes as far as scheduling have gone on at my school, which everyone has been adjusting to. These new changes have gone really well so far. In addition to school schedule changes, I have been very busy in school, as well. For the past couple of weeks, I have been working on my campaign for Student Body President, a dream that I’ve wanted to attain since I was in 3rd grade. Student body officer elections have definitely been stressful for a lot of my friends, but we should know the results soon. I’m sure that whoever wins in each position will be great assets to the school.

Another major event that occurred was my first college visit to High Point University. I really enjoyed touring the school and learning about all that it has to offer. I’m still looking around at potential schools, but High Point is a contender. It’s super beautiful.

What else is new? Oh! I finally found my prom dress! After prom, I’ll fill you in on all the details, but after months of searching, I finally found the dress I want to wear at Prom. I know it’s a little bit shallow, but it’s a milestone in my high school career!

All in all, life has been good. As always, I lead a very busy, hectic life, but I’m enjoying the ride. I hope you enjoyed this life update! Have a wonderful day.

Fame Beauty Essentials

Hello, my friendliest of friendly friends! As you know, my high school show, Fame, just ended and I’m still trying to bask in the glory of the show. I should probably move on. Anyways! When I performed on stage, I wore a lot of heavy makeup in order to be seen under the stage lights and to look like my character. I also needed beauty products that would last on my face through the heat of the stage lights and all the dancing that went down. These are some of the beauty products I used to ensure that I would look like Carmen all night long! These are products that are long lasting and of fabulous quality.

Revlon Colorstay Foundation: This foundation is awesome for performances, because it gives really full coverage and has great staying power. It definitely came in handy!

NYX HD Eyeshadow Primer: This is my favorite eyeshadow primer. My eyelids are really oily and eyeshadow tends to crease on me. However, this primer keeps my shadow on, with no creasing or fading. I love it.

Duo Lash Glue: The lash glue is great! It’s inexpensive, easy to use, and does a great job of keeping my lashes in place for the entire show.

Kiss False Lashes: These lashes are absolutely amazing. They give length, volume, and also look really natural. They add a hint of drama to the eyes, while sitting comfortably on the lash line.

Coastal Scents Revealed Palette: This is a staple in my beauty bag, both for shows and for everyday life. The shadows are really pigmented and smooth-great quality. It’s also great for when I need to create a certain look for a character, because there’s so many shadows to choose from.

Loreal Total Repair Conditioning Balm: Though this product isn’t great for keeping my makeup on, it’s perfect for keeping my hair smooth and soft. I use a lot of heat on my hair during shows, as I need to get those 80s curls, and this product really aids in repairing the damage.

I hope you enjoyed this post! Creating a look for a character is definitely one of my favorite parts of acting and these products help make sure that I can create and maintain that image. Anyways! Have a great day and I will talk to you later!

March Beauty Favorites

Hello, friends! Here are some of my favorite products that I used for the month of March!

IMG_3390

VS Coconut Daydream: I have been loving this scent this month! It smells like vanilla and coconut, with a little bit of spice. Perfect for Spring!

Jordana Cat Eye Liner: I really like this liner! I’m absolutely terrible at liquid liner, but this makes lining my eyes so much easier. It’s super black and lasts all day, and is super easy to use. It has a brush applicator which really helps in getting that clean, crisp line. Plus, it’s only $3.99!

Covergirl Ready, Set, Gorgeous Concealer: This is great for everyday coverage and blends beautifully. It’s a solid, easy concealer that I highly recommend.

Revlon Colorstay Liner: I have the oiliest eyelids ever (gross, I know), and liner tends to smudge on me. This liner is so nice, because it gives a  nice, black line and doesn’t smudge-even on me! I really like this liner, you guys.

KIKO Eyeshadow: I’ve definitely been reaching for this eyeshadow this month. It’s a beautiful icy champagne color that’s great for everyday wear. I also love how smooth it is and its pigmentation. KIKO isn’t typically found in the U.S., but I’m sure you can find it online!

I hope you enjoyed these March favorites! Let me know what beauty products you’ve been loving in the comments below!
