Hello, friends! I hope that you are doing well. Since I haven’t talked to you all in a while, I wanted to give you an update on all things life.
March was crazy busy with all things college. I did a lot of touring and auditions for various scholarships, which was definitely both a stressful and exciting time. March also brought my last high school musical. This year, our musical was A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, where I played a loud mouthed, shrewish wife named Domina. That was a really wonderful experience and a great show to have as my last.
March also brought SPRING BREAK (thank God). My family and I took a cruise to the Caribbean, which you will hear more about in a future post. I loved getting to spend time with my family and take some time for myself. 
As of college? I have finally decided! I will be attending Trinity University to major in theatre and communications. My family is still getting used to the idea of me going so far for college, but I am so excited to have this adventure. I was torn between Trinity and Chapel Hill for a while, but I ultimately decided that a smaller school was more my style. 
Life has been super crazy busy lately. I’m trying to balance the last couple months of classes along with the responsibilities of being Student Body President. I’m currently planning a Student vs. Faculty Basketball Game at my school, which has definitely been a trying and interesting experience. Even though life and school have been crazy, I’m trying to take it day by day and enjoy my last moments of high school. I have an internal struggle with senioritis, though. Even though I’m totally ready to be done with high school, my busy schedule isn’t letting me check out. It’s a weird dynamic, but I’m working on it.
